When F122 appears, the Bosch range has detected touch-key selection mechanism fault. The code narrows diagnosis but does not identify every cause by itself.

Model compatibility: Bosch reuses codes across series and model years, so F122 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.

When to call a technician
If the code returns, the control board, connected loads, wiring, supply, and configuration need platform-specific testing. Do not choose the most expensive module from the code alone. The technician should verify the relevant circuit or mechanism before recommending a repair.
