Low pressure or blocked inlet filters. Clean the strainers; low pressure itself is not fixable on the washer.
Model compatibility: Bosch reuses codes across series and model years, so E:92-01 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means
Water pressure is low or the filters in the water inlet are blocked.
Two possible causes lie behind E:92-01: low water pressure and blocked filters in the water inlet. Bosch’s owner-support page separates them clearly. When the pressure is too low, the washer offers no remedy, whereas blocked filters can be cleaned.
Release pressure before touching a hose
A supply hose under household pressure will spray when it is unscrewed. The WAT28400UC manual relieves it as follows:
Close the water tap.
Pick any wash cycle on the selector, though not Drain or Spin.
Touch Start/Pause and allow 30 seconds to pass.
Set the selector to Off.
Cleaning the strainers
At the tap: detach the hose, rinse its strainer in running water, look for remaining debris, rinse a second time if required and reattach.
At the washer: take the hose off the inlet at the back, pull the strainer free with narrow pliers, rinse it, and put the hose back. Open the tap and begin a warm wash to confirm water flows.
Finally, see that rubber washers sit properly at both ends and the fittings are snug, so there are no drips.
When pressure is the cause
Clean strainers and a returning E:92-01 suggest that the supply is the limit. That is a plumbing question, not a washer fault; Bosch’s support page, on related filling faults, recommends a plumber for low pressure.
Avoiding a repeat
The manual suggests cleaning the inlet strainers every six months in any case, mainly in hard-water areas, so the valve is less likely to get blocked. Slow or stopped water supply to the washer can also mean a blocked strainer.

Important safety warning. Do not attempt repairs involving electrical components, gas, water lines, refrigerant or sealed systems. Unplug the appliance if it is safe to reach the outlet, and leave internal diagnostics to a qualified technician.
